A Triptych card

We stopped early tonight so I brought my craft tote to the hotel room.

Using one of my landscape photos I made a Trip Tic for the card front. I think this would make a nice masculine card.

The photo is 4″ x 6″. I cut 1-1/2 inches off each side leaving a 3″ center piece.

The photo pieces are backed on black textured card stock from Colorbök. The card itself measures 12″ x 9″. Folded in half it measures 6″ x 9″. The card stock I used is a medium gray textured card stock from DCWV.

Inside I used a Hero Arts wood mounted stamp from the discount bin at Michaels in Greeley, Colorado.

The image is stamped using Momento Tuxedo Black ink I purchased in Salt Lake City, Utah. The card stock is white textured from Colorbök.

We have the weekend to go a little over 600 miles so I may get to play again.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone.

OMGOSH!! I never even knew Greeley, had a Michael’s. Its been sooooo long since i have been there, no telling WHAT Greeley looks like now. Now let’s see, our oldest son Michael was, about 1 1/2 years old, and he is going to be 28 end of Aug. Yep!! Its been a long long time. Liked your card, doing a good job sis. love you.

Over 20 years. You know a lot has changed while a lot remains just the same.

You remember the shopping mall? Way out in the middle of no where. The parking lot was all that kept you out of the farmers fields? Houses, businesses, banks, car dealerships, restaurants, and of course Michaels.

The area where Michaels is has been recent in growth while a mile east near the mall is getting run down and looking pretty shabby.

      Thanks for the compliment Sis

      Love you.

What beautiful scene in that photo and it makes a perfect triptych. I am away from home at the moment…have been since Friday….so no chance to hunt out photo cards or to do any crafting. That would be impossible with two very lively youngsters dashing around 🙂 So I’ve been catching up on a few favourite television programmes instead once the boys are in bed.

That scene would make a lovely wall mounted/framed picture, very peaceful 🙂
    Love and hugs

Thank you Lynn for your very sweet comment.

So tell me which television shows do you still like from the last time you were able to watch them and which have made you wonder about the writers?

Are you enjoying your time with the little ones?

      Love you – Leslie

Elegant card. Makes me want to try it with all the pretty patterned papers in my stash!
