Walmart and Michaels in Greeley, Colorado

Are you up for a different kind of card challenge?

I take, at least, a gazillion photos for my my truck driving job and that blog. All of the photos are landscapes of the states we travel through. Some are flowers and plant life in the various regions.

I probably will not be able to make scrapbook layouts with all my photos. So…..

My new challenge to you all will be to use photos on your card fronts.

Joe, my wonderful enabler, has agreed to stop at a Walmart so I can process some photos to use for this challenge. Joe has also agreed to take me to Michaels to get black ink and some REAL card stock. I’m also going to pick up a REAL ruler in the sewing section of Walmart. I so want my quilting ruler back.

Stay tuned. Same “scrap time”. Same “scrap channel” for the next episode of traveling card making 😀

Quite often use photos for the front of my cards especially if the cards are going to specific people e.g. an old and dear friend who is now in his 90s loves birds and bird watching so I regularly send him a card to keep in touch and put a photo of various birds that we have taken.
A family member loves snow and we have lots of snowy photos, usually trees in snow, and I usually send a card with one of those scenes on for Christmas. As I said she loves the snow but when she comes here she almost sits up the chimney as FIL would say. If she got any closer to the fire she would be up the chimney 🙂

    I will dig one out!

Have a great shopping trip 🙂

    Love and hugs
    Lynn xx
